3M™ PELTOR™ X1 helmet covers are lightweight hearing protection with comfortable and soft cushions. Protects against low to moderate noise levels. SNR 26dB. They have a lightweight design with low profile caps that are ideal when there is a risk of over damping. The headband model features an electrically insulated, split headband that helps reduce heat build-up on the head and plastic-coated stainless steel wire that makes the headband 3M's most robust option. The hoods are both stable and comfortable as the flat, wide headband has a soft plastic coating that provides even pressure against the head. No exposed metal makes the product "dielectric", which provides protection in areas of use where there is a risk of sparks or shocks. Carefully shaped sliders make the earmuffs easy to adjust when on the head. Wide, soft cushioning foam cushions provide high comfort, while the narrow covers provide better compatibility with other protective equipment. The cushions and foam inserts are available as hygiene kits and can be easily replaced when they become worn or damaged, which helps to increase the life of the product. 3M PELTOR helmet covers X1 have the color code green, which is the first level of noise protection in the series.
