3M™ PELTOR™ X1 earmuffs are lightweight hearing protection with comfortable and soft cushions. Protects against low to moderate noise levels. SNR 27dB. A lightweight design with low profile hoods that is ideal when there is a risk of over damping. The model features an electrically insulated, split headband that helps reduce heat build-up on the head and stainless steel wire with a plastic coating that makes the headband 3M's most robust option. The hoods are both stable and comfortable as the flat, wide headband has a soft plastic coating that provides even pressure against the head. No exposed metal, which makes the product dielectric and provides protection in areas of use with risk of sparks or shocks. Carefully shaped sliders make the earmuffs easy to adjust when on the head. Wide, soft cushioning foam cushions provide high comfort, while the narrow covers provide better compatibility with other protective equipment.
