Ballograf Epoca has been around since 1961 and it's easy to understand why. Partly thanks to its fine function, but perhaps above all for the pleasant writing feeling. The pen is supplied with ink that carries the strict certification Swedish Archives with ISO 11798. The ink in an Epoca lasts for 8000 meters, nine times longer than the average pen. When the refill has been written out, it is left in the metal recycling. A new era in the history of the pen The idea behind Epoca was to design a pen with an ergonomically correct shape. The request for one had come from the Post Office, because their staff wrote a lot every day and complained of fatigue and pain in their hands. Therefore, the Epoca got a shape that was unlike any other pen in the early 60s, but which we all recognize today. For more than two years, it is tested and proofread, both by hand and in special test devices. Then Epoca is launched in two models: Epoca P and Epoca Luxe, and the rest is, as they say, history.
