tesapack Bio & Strong is a bio-based packing tape that is suitable for various types of packaging applications with boxes of medium weight, approx. 15–30 kg. The carrier polylactide acid, also known as PLA, is made from 100% renewable raw materials such as corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar cane. The adhesive used for this tape is natural rubber with natural resin. Thanks to the smart composition of raw materials with outstanding design, tesa 60400 is produced with a biocarbon content of 98%, which results in a reduced carbon footprint. With strong adhesion, strong carrier and excellent performance on recycled cardboard.
